Our Campers
Our campers range in age from 2-15, and are grouped accordingly. We consider both their age and school grade to ensure age appropriate activities.
In addition to age/grade consideration, our campers select their specific camp program from 3 different options, based on their interests (Camp SAM, Camp GLAM, SAM Playcare).
Our camper groups adhere to a strict ratio of 1:10 (staff:campers) in Camp SAM, GLAM, & SPIRIT and 1:7 in Playcare. The groups consist of no more than 20 campers, with 2 counselors (14 campers in Playcare). Most camper groups are co-ed, with male or female counselors always available.

Our Schedule
We typically offer 11 or 12 weeks of summer camp between the hours of 7AM and 6PM. The normal camp day runs from 9AM to 4PM, with Before and After-Care options available for an additional fee.
We offer flexible scheduling and do not require a minimum week commitment. Our campers may enroll in as many weeks as they’d like. Campers can select 2, 3, 4 or 5-Day camp. In addition, SAM Playcare offers half-day options as well as full-day programs.
Each camp day runs similar to a school day, with 9 periods of 45-minute stations (shorter time period for the campers in the Playcare program). After the first week of camp, we always meet with the campers and counselors in each group to assess their interests, which allows us to design their future schedules based on their likes and dislikes. Our goal is to ensure that our campers enjoy their days with us, and grow into confident, competent, and caring individuals while in our care.
